The Hancock County Junior High School Quiz Bowl season concluded Monday, March 11, 2024, at Liberty-Benton Middle School with the annual tournament. Van Buren MS was the 2024 tournament winner with Liberty-Benton MS as the runner-up. The team members from Van Buren MS included Rachel Betts, Ben Burkart, Alivia Cole, Luke Grady, Tyler Hummel, Alicia Lebron, Rachael Miller, Shiv Patel, Korbin Preble, Matthew Puperi, Karson Rinker, Gourav Rohidas, Hailey Treece and advisor, Bailey Hafner.
Members of the Liberty-Benton team were Alex Coldren, Robert Greiner, Raksh Lalji, Hudson Lee, Tyler Nauert, Jonah Todd. Their advisors are Heather Black and Lyndsey Fox. 63 students participated in this competition from eight area school districts.
The eight districts included Arcadia, Arlington, Cory-Rawson, Liberty-Benton, McComb, Riverdale, Van Buren and Vanlue.
